Dark Heart

There was a young student in St. Louis Secondary School. She was a rebel. She had a few friends in school. They were rebels also. She wrote lyrics and draw pictures in her notebook. She listened to music when she wrote. Her mind was clouded with darkness. She had a loving family but she never fully realized it.

One day she went to school. She had long, black hair, black makeup and black clothes. She was listening to music while she walked in the school. In the classroom she was sitting in the last table. She was listening to music and was writing lyrics. She didn’t saw the teacher coming in. But if she had seen it, she wouldn’t have cared. In the middle of the class the teacher spoke up towards her. She couldn’t hear it. Then the teacher took out the earphones from her ears. The girl realized that the loud and hard music from her ears had disappeared. She looked up at the teacher who was yelling.

“Put those away or you go to the principal!” The teacher was boiling in anger. The girl didn’t care. When the teacher turned she put them back but her arm covered it. She continued writing. The teacher went back to her table and grabbed her notebook then started to read it out.

“I am the innocent
I am what could have been
The dreams you talk about,
Now left on broken skin
Here lies hysteria,
A land where chaos reigns
Global Disturbia,
Bows down to twisted ways.

A world of hate awaits
We are The Wild Ones
They all look the same...
Our time has come”

“This is insane! It doesn’t have any meaning. This is garbage!” With this sentence the teacher tore the page then crumpled it to the trash can. The girl sat in her chair calmly but inside she was raging. She fortunately remembered for all the words.

“Go to the principal now!” The teacher thew her notebook back to her table. She grabbed all her stuff then went out while the teacher was following her close. She could feel the anger. She walked to the principal’s office. She went in then sat down in front of the principal to a chair. The man was talking to somebody on the phone. The girl opened her notebook then wrote her lyric quickly. The man slammed the phone to its place.

“Your teacher just called me. What do you think who you are?” He wasn’t in his good mood. His face was as red as her teacher’s.

“Wretched and divined.” She thought about her lyrics. She liked that title.

“That’s not the answer for the question I’ve asked! You know what? I don’t care. Go home you are banned from school for a month. I’m going to call some help also.” She accepted that. She was happy about this ban. Finally she had time to think and to write. When she went home she met with her parents. She wanted to go up to her room but she felt that a strong arm grabbed her hand. It was his father. She turned around with not much pleasure. She saw her mother standing next to her father. “Great just great that’s what I needed…” She thought.

“What the fuck are you doing here? You are supposed to be in school.” Her parents head were as red as the teacher’s. She decided to tell the truth then go to her room.

“Banned from school for a month. Wait for the principal’s call.” She finally escaped from her father’s clench and went to her room. She left their parents there knowing that they are going to be angry.  She threw her stuff on her bed then took out her notebook and started writing.

“I am the chosen,
Wretched and Divine
I am the unspoken,
The one they left behind
Fearless, fight until we die
I am broken
The Wretched and Divine

I am the Devil's smile,
The one caught everyday
A hopeful hero's speech
Won't stop the years you bleed
I am a hurricane,
An Army strong as one
As they sit back and laugh
The one you left has just begun”

She heard a sudden noise coming from the door. Strangers came in to her room. She jumped on her bed with holding her notebook close to her chest. Her parents came in behind the strangers. She didn’t know what was happening.

“You! You come with us!” One man said that and the other 2 grabbed her in her arms then carried her downstairs. She didn’t let go of her notebook. The men wanted to take it away but the girl insisted. She started to stir and when she broke out from the holding arms she got an injection to her neck. It was a sedative. The girl went unconscious and her parents were crying. The specialists put her body to a stretcher then they pushed him outdoors. The men put her in the ambulance car and drove to psychotherapy.
The girl woke up in a white small room with a bed only. A man came in.

“Hello. We found that you have mental illness and we are going to stare you for who knows how long? Here’s your notebook write down your feelings. I’ll come back in 15 minutes.” With this he went out. She was depressed. She didn’t want to exist. She was raging she wanted to kill herself. But with what? She suddenly remembered that she put a knife into her shoe what was hidden. She went to the corner of the room where the camera couldn’t see her. Luckily she found the knife. She wanted to die as fast as possible. She didn’t want to have more pain in life. She pulled out the knife then aimed right to her heart. The man came in he wanted to stop her but it was too late. She stabbed it deep in her heart. The girl breathed her last then she welcomed the death. The man was standing next to the girl who had her own blood running down her whole body to the floor. She couldn’t fell anything. No one could bother her from now on. She became one with the dead. Finally she was peaceful…
